We’re looking for a motivated Accountant II to join our team in Orlando, FL and support key accounting functions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Record, categorize, and reconcile expenses and credit card transactions.
- Prepare expense reports and variance analyses.
- Assist with vendor invoice processing and account management.
- Improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Mentor team members on accounting best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4–5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
- Advanced Excel skills; QuickBooks Online experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in an in-office environment.
- Aviation interest is a plus.
