About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced Avionics Manager to lead our shop floor operations while staying hands-on with advanced avionics work. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, mentor technicians, troubleshoot complex systems, and help deliver exceptional results for corporate and private aircraft customers. If you’re passionate about leadership, avionics, and high-quality craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily shop operations and serve as acting General Manager when needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex avionics installation issues.
Train, mentor, and develop avionics technicians.
Manage team performance, attendance, and compliance.
Ensure FAA, manufacturer, and customer quality standards are met.
Implement corrective actions and maintain accurate records.
Install, repair, and troubleshoot avionics systems.
Build strong relationships with customers and support an exceptional client experience.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in general aviation or avionics.
Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
Experience in troubleshooting corporate and private aircraft avionics.
Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and engineering drawings.
Experience installing harnesses and programming avionics systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain airport clearance.
Preferred experience with Garmin, Honeywell, pitot-static testing, cabin entertainment, and Wi-Fi systems.
